Missions Ministry
The mission statement of the Church of the Nazarene is “to make Christ-like disciples of all nations.” The objective of Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is “to mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences.”
The church ministers in 151 world areas with almost 800 missionaries from 26 different countries.
Through its partnership with the Jesus Film Harvest Partners, NMI has brought the good news of Jesus Christ to 43.3 million people as of 2007.
The church produces literature in 66 different languages.
Short-Term Mission Opportunities
Youth: July 2008 Mississippi; past missions experiences include work in Mississippi and Mexico.
Adults: August 2008 JESUS Film trip to Honduras; past trips include Work & Witness trips to Mississippi.
