TRIBE: My wife Tami, who loves warm weather and California beaches. Amber, my oldest daughter will soon graduate and move to college at Pt. Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.  Abbie, my second daughter enjoys swimming and playing soccer for her High School.  And let’s not forget the fur ball known as Callie the dog, an Australian Shepherd-Collie mix who is well over ten years old and Oreo the Cat – whom everyone in the house is allergic to and yet remains a member of the family (anyone want a cat?).

DRIVE:  I love to sneak out in my daughters 74 VW Super Beetle Sunbug; but most of the time I’m stuck in the four door sedan.

READ: Fiction:  Grisham, Clancy, Cornwell, Dekker.  Non-fiction Work: The God Bearing Life, Broken in the Right Place, Run with the Bulls, The Divine Conspiracy.

MAGAZINES: Sports Illustrated

EAT: Favorite Pizza- Giordano’s Downtown Chicago; Favorite Mexican: Mi Cocina, New Berlin, WI;  Favorite Ice Cream: Maggie Moo’s (Ummm!)

WATCH: Bears Football, CSI – all three.

LISTEN:  Third Day, ESPN 1000

DO: Golf, Volleyball, work on the VW when needed.

GO: Anywhere Tami will let me go with her.  Brewers Baseball, High School Football.

COOL: Watching my kids in their Sports / Music activities.  Riding the train to downtown Chicago

UNCOOL: Genocide; bullying; being dissed for being a Bears Fan in Milwaukee.

The Official Stuff: 

Graduated:  Unity High School 1985; Olivet Nazarene University 1989; Nazarene Theological Seminary 1992.

Work Experience:  I spent 11 years traveling the country as a journeyman Youth Pastor.  Along the way I served Anaheim (CA) First Nazarene, Nall Ave. Nazarene (Prairie Village, KS), Indianapolis (IN) Westside Nazarene, Wanamaker Woods Nazarene(Topeka, KS), Hendersonville (TN) Nazarene, Hermitage (TN) United Methodist.

I became pastor of First Church in July 2003.
