A major earthquake measuring 7.0-magnitude hit Haiti Tuesday, January 12. As many as 3 million people have been affected and more than 100,000 are suspected to have died. General Superintendent J.K. Warrick has sent out a call for help, saying: "I plead with [Nazarenes] to respond with prayers, financial gifts, and other types of assistance as may be appropriate."

"What's a Nazarene Church?" 

Briefly, we are a Christian Church that believes Jesus is the only way to come into
relationship with God.
The BIBLE is our only book.
We confess the historical CREEDS, both the Nicene and Apostle's Creed.
And we often say, we are first cousins with the Wesleyan, Free-Methodist and United Methodist Church. Meaning, we have very similar theology and beliefs.
